
C. J. Campbell
In both business enterprises and volunteer commitments, Mr. Campbell has demonstrated keen development and promotional abilities in international marketing, sports marketing, fundraising, and high-profile promotional events. He created and founded the Biletnikoff Award in 1994, which is presented annually to the Nation’s Best College Receiver and is nationally televised. He brought 21 British Olympic teams to train in Tallahassee, developed the first British Olympic Internet site. He established the first NBL-sanctioned BMX training center. He has managed large-scale hospitality events, including a U.S. visit by British royalty, and sponsorship of a NASCAR Winston (Nextel) Cup team. He is currently involvement with the Florida State University MBA program where he serves as the President of the Board of Visitors. Whether for enterprise, sports, community, or university groups, he applies his knowledge of marketing and new technologies to their advancement.
Mr. Campbell is the recipient of the 2006 Christopher Campbell Distinguished Alumni Award from Florida State University’s College of Business, Masters in Business Administration.
CIVIC MANAGEMENT AND LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCES INCLUDES:
- Founded the Biletnikoff Award in 1994, which is presented annually to the Nation’s Best College Receiver.
- Chairman of the British Olympic Team Local Organizing Committee, 1992-1996, which was responsible for bring the Great Britain Olympic Delegation, 21 teams, to training in Tallahassee, Florida for the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games in Atlanta.
- Planned and directed the Visit by HRH the Princess Royal to Tallahassee.
- Created in1994 the first Olympic home page specifically designed for the British Olympic Team.
- Founded the Tallahassee Quarterback Club Foundation as the sponsor of the Biletnikoff Award.
- Provided professional services to British Olympic Team medallists in the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games.
- Establishing the first NBL nationally sanctioned BMX training center for the Boy Scout of America.
