MCC's minute services provide a valuable tool to search your minutes. The service is designed to minimize the time spent looking for facts buried deep within your minutes. Approaches available are:

• Electronic indexing of your minutes
• Scanning your minutes into an imaging system

Electronic indexing of your minutes. If you have saved your minutes in an electronic format, it is possible to integrate them with the Folio text search engine. Doing so allows full-text searching using Boolean logic. Your minutes, integrated with Folio, can be provided on a CD-ROM and loaded onto your internal network or individual PC. Additionally, they can be posted on the internet at www.municode.com in our online library.

Scanning your minutes into an imaging system. If you do not have all of your minutes captured electronically, but want the convenience of full-text searching and the security of optically-imaged archival, the best alternative is scanning your minutes into the LaserFiche imaging system. LaserFiche converts image files into text for searching and returns an image of the actual minutes for printing or review.
